1-on-1 or small group
Keiki Soccer Lessons on Oahu
Keiki soccer lessons are made for kids who are brand new to the game. Sessions are short, active and built around games, so young players learn to dribble, kick and stop the ball without noticing how much they're practicing.
Coach Joe teaches keiki lessons 1-on-1 or in a small group with a sibling or friend, at a local field or in your backyard. It's a relaxed way to see whether your child enjoys soccer before joining a team, or to give them a head start on their first season.

What a session looks like
Warm-up game. A playful start, like tag with a ball at their feet, so everyone is moving from the first minute.
Ball-control basics. Simple touches with both feet, like toe taps, dribbling with little touches and stopping the ball on command.
Skill games. Short games that sneak in one skill at a time, like dribbling through "gates" or scoring into a small goal.
Mini match. A small game against the coach or a sibling, so keiki get to use what they learned and score some goals.
High fives and a home challenge. A quick recap for parents and one fun thing to practice in the yard before next time.

Ages and levels

Keiki lessons are for true beginners and young players who've only played a little. They don't need to know the rules yet.
Young kids have short attention spans, and that's fine. Activities change every few minutes, and a session that feels like play is the one they'll want to come back to. As players grow in skill and focus, they can move on to private soccer lessons or a small group.
Who it's for
Keiki lessons suit children who are curious about soccer but not ready for a team, kids who felt lost at their first practice, and families who want a gentle start before registering for a youth league. Siblings can learn together, so the whole ohana can join in.
Wondering if your child is ready? If your keiki can follow a simple instruction and loves running after a ball, that's a good sign.
